The Marichette Foundation facilitates access to education for New Brunswick women who are looking for better training to help them get out of a situation of economic dependence.

After long months of work, a foundation project to help low-income women pursue post-secondary education finally became a reality.

On March 8, 2016, International Women's Day, the Marichette Foundation was officially launched. Every year since then, the Foundation has been offering scholarships to women in the province who have significant financial needs to enable them to attend college or university.

The Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization, authorized by the Canada Revenue Agency to issue official receipts for income tax purposes.
