Coordinator of the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS) – Volet Université de Moncton for the past eight years, Micheline manages a team of three employees and works closely with the 16 French-language colleges and universities in Canada that are members of the CNFS.
A teacher by training, Micheline taught for seven years in immersion schools in the Greater Halifax area, as well as in Shediac at École Louis-J.-Robichaud. She has also worked in adult education, strategic planning and compliance for various private companies. She also held a position as Senior Program Advisor with the NB Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour. Micheline strongly believes in giving back to the community, which is why she has held numerous volunteer positions. She is a former board member of Crossroads for Women Inc. and a member of the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick. In addition, for a period of eight years, Micheline and her husband welcomed players from the Moncton Wildcats field hockey team into their home.
Ms. Melanson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MAP) from the Université de Moncton.
