The Marichette Foundation is pleased to announce that 6 scholarships have been awarded for the 2021-2022 university and college year.
"As it does every year, the Marichette Foundation received numerous scholarship applications. The selection committee had to make difficult choices, as the financial needs are numerous, especially in this year of pandemic," said Foundation President Michèle Caron.
Ginette Rossignol of Notre-Dame de Lourdes will receive a $5,000 renewable bursary to enable her to undertake studies in Practical Nursing at the Collège Communautaire N.-B. (CCNB) - Edmundston campus.
Sélina Roberts of Pointe du Chêne received a $5,000 bursary to undertake her second year of studies in Medical Secretarial at CCNB - Dieppe campus.
The Foundation also renewed the scholarships of the following 4 students:
Émilie Rousselle of Moncton - renewal of a $5,000 scholarship awarded in 2020-2021. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work program and will complete her program in April 2023.
Sarah Daigle of Dieppe - $4,000 scholarship renewal. She is completing her second year of law school in April 2022.
Liliane Dusabe of Dieppe, $5,000 scholarship renewal. She is completing her Bachelor of Social Work in April 2022.
Andrée-Anne Leblanc of Moncton, $5,000 scholarship renewal. She is enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work program and is scheduled to complete in April 2024.
The Foundation's scholarships are renewable for the duration of the program of study up to a maximum of 5 years.
