The Marichette Foundation offers bursaries to New Brunswick women who live in financial insecurity to help them pursue training likely to allow them to achieve financial independence.
Since 2024, thanks to its capital campaign, Education gives wings, the foundation has been able to raise the number of bursaries and their amounts.
Academic year 2025-2026, $200,000; 20 recipients
Academic year 2024, $100,000; 10 recipients
Academic year 2023-2024, $52,500; 7 recipients
Academic year 2022-2023, $30,000; 6 recipients
Academic year 2021-2022, 29,000 4; 6 recipients
Academic year 2020-2021, $25,000; 8 recipients
2019-2020 academic year, $19,000; 6 recipients
2018-2019 academic year, $10,000; 3 recipients
This year’s numbers were made possible thanks to an exceptional gift received.
The competition is launched annually in January for bursaries for the academic year starting in September of that year.

The application form and the two letters of recommendation must reach the Marichette Foundation no later than March 15. Please follow the procedure described below to apply online. Only complete applications will be evaluated.

The Foundation may ask bursaries recipients to participate in publicity activities. However, participation is free and voluntary. Please note that the names of the scholarship recipients are made public.
