January 15, 2025 - The Fondation Marichette is launching an appeal to women in New Brunswick who would like to study in French at college or university, but whose financial situation prevents them from realizing that dream. Interested candidates are invited to apply, by March 15, 2025 at the latest, for bursaries of $10,000 each, renewable for the duration of their study program. In this way, the Marichette Foundation enables bursary recipients to pursue a university or college education that will give them better career opportunities, thus contributing to their financial independence.

As 2024 draws to a close, the Marichette Foundation looks back on a very positive year. We are proud to continue our mission of facilitating access to education for New Brunswick francophone women in precarious financial situations, by offering bursaries enabling them to pursue post-secondary studies.

With new members on its board of directors, the Marichette Foundation recently held a strategic planning session to identify its objectives for the coming year and ensure they are aligned with its vision and values.

Since its creation, the Marichette Foundation has been the lucky beneficiary of the exceptional generosity of our religious communities. Today we pay a special tribute to the Daughters of Mary of the Assumption of Campbellton without whom the Marichette Foundation would not exist.

A significant contribution from the University of Moncton leads to the creation of a partnership with the Marichette Foundation.
