Marichette Foundation Luncheon
It is with pleasure that we welcome Marie-José Turcotte for the Foundation's luncheon on May 2, 2024. First female journalist to break into the male world of major sports and recognized for her influence on changes in attitude in her field, Marie-José Turcotte is a pioneer in the field of sport.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 7:30 a.m. at the Beauséjour Hotel, located at Main Street, Moncton, NB, Canada.
Tickets: $125.00 (tax receipt in the amount of $95.00).
During its annual luncheon on May 1, the Marichette Foundation is pleased to welcome Ms. Louise Arbor as a speaker.
Ms. Arbor is an internationally renowned jurist.
She recently completed her tenure at the UN as Special Representative of the Secretary-General for International Migration. She has held other important positions at the United Nations, including High Commissioner for Human Rights and Prosecutor General for the International Criminal Tribunals for the Former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.
She has served on the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Ontario.
For the third edition of its luncheon on June 7, the Marichette Foundation is pleased to welcome Dr. Réjean Thomas as a speaker.
Dr. Thomas is well known for his commitment to people with AIDS. He is the president, CEO and founder of the l’Actuel medical clinic in Montreal.
His exceptional journey has taken him from New Brunswick to the four corners of the world.
The auction begins today, January 12, and will end on January 19 at 8 p.m.
Nearly 30 pieces are on sale including works by Gaston Landry (engraving), Roberte Melanson, Yvon Gallant, André Phelps and Gisèle Léger-Drapeau
Proceeds from the auction help the Marichette Foundation provide scholarships to women in New Brunswick.
